Poem Brut is an exploration of artistic creative writing - poetry and colour, handwriting, composition, abstraction, scribbling, illustration - a project that aims to engage and energise poets, writers, artists, readers and listeners. Poem Brut affirms the possibilities of liveness for the poet too, and this event will feature new performances made by poets working in the literary and experimental traditions that might explore the possibilities of writing made before an audience.
This event closed the Museum of Futures Annual visual literature exhibition, entitled for 2019, PhotoPoetry or PhotoLit, which features over 40 poets and artists. www.writerscentrekingston.com/futures
